Soccer Recap: Giddings Comes Up Short

Giddings saw some tournament action on Thursday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 4-2 defeat to the Life Waxahachie Mustangs.

Giddings' loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Giddings and Life Waxahachie will both be playing Bastrop the next time they take the pitch. The Mustangs will head out to face the Bears at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Buffaloes will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
