The Caverna Colonels's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against Fort Campbell by a score of 48-36.
Despite the loss, Fort Campbell still got an impressive performance from Rosella Rajj, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. Rajj scored a full 52.8% of Fort Campbell's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Cyri Reed was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 3 steals.
Caverna now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fort Campbell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caverna will face off against Barren County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Campbell will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Trigg County at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
