The Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves were the 57-36 winner over the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles when they last played one another back in November of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. Oxbridge Academy took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Christian Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camryn Kanell, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. The matchup was Kanell's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taryn Wakefield, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds.
Oxbridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxbridge Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Somerset College Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th. Calvary Christian Academy will take on NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
