Carolina Forest has gone 8-2 against Myrtle Beach recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Carolina Forest's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over North Myrtle Beach. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

The result came thanks to Parker Reavis's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Carolina Forest's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gatlin Pasco, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Andrew Shupe also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach won against Socastee on Wednesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Seahawks walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Braves. Winning may never get old, but the Seahawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Myrtle Beach let Jacob Edwards and Julian Neagles run wild. Edwards went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI, while Neagles scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Neagles a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Julio Delfin, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Myrtle Beach's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Carolina Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Everything went Carolina Forest's way against Myrtle Beach in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, as Carolina Forest made off with a 12-1 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Seahawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
