The home team had won the previous six meetings between Brennan and Harlan, and Brennan kept the tradition alive. The Brennan Bears narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Harlan Hawks 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Hawks last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Brennan's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for Harlan, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brennan will face off against Antonian Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harlan, they will venture away from home to square off against O'Connor at 1:45 p.m. on Monday.
