Brady's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaydence Tully, who scored 11 points along with six steals and five assists. Tully hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Lola Whisenhunt was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Brady's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Llano, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brady will face off against Blanco at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Blanco is ranked 849th, while Brady is ranked 859th). As for Llano, they will head out on the road to challenge Ingram Moore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ingram Moore is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
