Softball Recap: Pinkerton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Pinkerton entered their tilt with Alvirne on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Broncos. Considering the Astros have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pinkerton's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Alvirne, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pinkerton is set to take on their familiar foe Windham at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Astros 2.1, the Jaguars 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Alvirne will square off against rival Bishop Guertin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
