They had to suffer through a rough 91-37 loss at the hands of College Prep of America. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Islamic Foundation has suffered since December 5, 2023.
Leading College Prep of America to victory were Ibrahim Elagha and Hamzah Shouman. Elagha scored 29 points along with seven steals and five assists, while Shouman scored 26 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Shouman is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 11 games he's played. Hasan Hasan was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
Islamic Foundation's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for College Prep of America, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
Islamic Foundation will head out on the road to challenge Schaumburg Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Schaumburg Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests. As for College Prep of America, they will be playing in front of their home fans against MCC at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. MCC has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 264 points over their last four contests.
