Hart County is 8-2 against the Colonels since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Hart County Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Caverna Colonels at 7:00 p.m. Caverna took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hart County, who comes in off a win.
Hart County proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 36) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bethlehem and snuck past 73-70. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Caverna lost to the Hawks on the road by a decisive 63-47 margin on Friday.
Hart County's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Caverna, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.
Hart County won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, slipping by the Colonels 58-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hart County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
