Even though McNair scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Elite Scholars Academy still came out on top. Elite Scholars Academy snuck past McNair with a 68-64 victory.
Chase Grant and Zion Goree were among the main playmakers for Elite Scholars Academy as the former scored 19 points along with six assists and four steals and the latter scored 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goree has scored all season. Xavier Charles-jones was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-40, which was the final score in Landmark Christian's tilt against Columbia on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Landmark Christian in their matchups with Columbia: they've now lost five in a row.
Elite Scholars Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-18. As for Landmark Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.
