  Makenna Sturgis was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with a  home run and three  stolen bases. She is on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in the last four games she's  played.
 Meanwhile, Blake pushed their score all the way to ten on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 21-10 walloping at the hands of Jefferson.
 Alonso's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-2. As for Blake, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
