Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chartiers Valley walked away with it. They came out on top against the Moon Area Tigers by a score of 51-44 on Friday. The 51-point effort marked the Colts' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Chartiers Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Moon Area's loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Coming up, Chartiers Valley will square off against Montour on Tuesday. Montour will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Chartiers Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Moon Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
