The Gorham Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Windham Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gorham will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
While Gorham's victory against Bonny Eagle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Scots 4-3.

Bella McBrady spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Gorham saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer VonderHaar, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Lily Tukey was another, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Windham came out on top against Massabesic on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fifth inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 18-1 victory. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.
The team relied heavily on Addison Caiazzo, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Kaylee Napolitano also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Windham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
Windham pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Gorham, their record now sits at 12-3.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Gorham has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .454. However, it's not like Windham struggles in that department as they've averaged .510. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Gorham suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Windham in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
