The Chicago Military Academy Eagles waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 36-35 victory over Fenger. For Chicago Military Academy, this counts as revenge for the 42-24 defeat Fenger walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Taylor Jackson was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Chicago Military Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Giamiah Ivory-Goss, who scored eight points.
Chicago Military Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Fenger, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
Chicago Military Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fenger won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chicago Vocational at 5:00 p.m. on January 25th. Chicago Vocational's defense has only allowed 21.8 points per game this season, so Fenger's offense will have their work cut out for them.
