Marshall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cedric Hill out in front who scored 22 points. Bagdo Yetenekyan was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Marshall's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-12. As for El Monte, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-26.
Marshall will head out on the road to square off against the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Mountain View is ranked 1260th, while the Eagles are ranked 1259th). As for El Monte, they will play host again and welcome the Eagles, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday. South El Monte will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
