The Anderson Prep Academy Jets will head out on the road to face off against the Union Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Anderson Prep Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-39 loss to University. While losing is never fun, Anderson Prep Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while University is ranked 110th).
Meanwhile, Union humbled MTI School of Knowledge with a 59-8 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Union.
Union got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenzy Ogden out in front who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Ogden continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Glory Ellis, who scored 10 points.
Their wins bumped Anderson Prep Academy to 4-3 and University to 3-2.
Anderson Prep Academy came up short against Union when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 48-44. Thankfully for Anderson Prep Academy, Honour Ellis (who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
