The Heritage Christian Eagles will face off against the Flatirons Academy Bison at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
Heritage Christian is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Sedgwick County just ended the team's  three-match winning streak  on Tuesday. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.
 Heritage Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sedgwick County work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 20-25, 25-9,  25-19.

 The losing side was boosted by   Abby Leveillee, who  had 15  digs and two  assists. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
Meanwhile, Flatirons Academy had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bruins as they made off with  a  3-0 victory.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16,  25-8.
 Flatirons Academy's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  match:  Heritage Christian has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 11.8  aces per game. However, it's not like Flatirons Academy struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 10.9  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
