They took a 33-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wolcott College Prep. Christian Heritage Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wolcott College Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Wolcott College Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zoe Bares-Langer led the charge by scoring 8 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bina Brill, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
Christian Heritage Academy has fallen quite a ways from their 11-3 record last season and are now at 0-3. As for Wolcott College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Christian Heritage Academy will head out on the road to face off against Cristo Rey St. Martin at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Wolcott College Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. Christ the King presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wolcott College Prep in Illinois (Christ the King is ranked 267th, while Wolcott College Prep is ranked 584th).
