Woodrow Wilson had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Vasquez Mustangs as they made off with a 16-4 win. Considering the Bruins have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Woodrow Wilson got a massive performance out of Tatum Yates, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits Yates has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tallulah Watts, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Woodrow Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Vasquez, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Coming up, Woodrow Wilson will host Millikan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Millikan's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Woodrow Wilson's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Vasquez, they will venture away from home to square off against Faith Baptist at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Vasquez's pitchers better be ready for this one: Faith Baptist has averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
