While Council didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Lighthouse Christian Lions 71-18. The Lumberjacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 26 points or more this season.

Council's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lighthouse Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Council will be home for the holidays to greet Garden Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lighthouse Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Shoshone at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
