Basketball Recap: First State Military Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Daniel Jason and Wayne Watson

First State Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Wilmington Charter Force, falling 67-44. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Force from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, First State Military Academy had strong showings from Wayne Watson, who posted nine points, and Daniel Jason, who scored six points. Tristen Bell was another key player, putting up two points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.

First State Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Wilmington Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-12 record this season.

First State Military Academy has already played their next match, a 74-31 loss against Dickinson on the 13th. As for Wilmington Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-44 defeat against Archmere Academy on the 13th.
