In what's become a running theme this season, Ovilla Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Nazarene Christian Academy with a sharp 56-34 victory. Winning is a bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 29% better than the opposition, as Ovilla Christian's was.
Sophie Henry was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ovilla Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Marshall, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Bethesda Christian, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-39 loss to the Lions back in January.
Ovilla Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Bethesda Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
