They were the clear victor by a 30-0 margin over Davenport North. Davenport Central were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Davenport Central's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Pleasant Valley's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Davenport Central can add another positive mark to their record or if Pleasant Valley can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Davenport Central's step.
