It's playoff time, and Lytle had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on Poth with a sharp 7-0 win on Thursday. Considering Lytle has won 19 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Damien Barco and Weston Jackson did most of the damage at the plate: Barco went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Jackson went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

The victory (which was Lytle's 17th in a row) raised their record to 26-6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Poth, their loss dropped their record down to 25-8.

Lytle will have a chance to go back-to-back against Poth: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
