Highland's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-14. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.8 points per game. As for Nezperce, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Highland suffered a grim 47-24 defeat to Nezperce in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Nezperce's Aubree Lux, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and six steals. Now that Highland knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
