When it comes to explaining why Macon-East Montgomery Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keagan Roney. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Roney hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Todd, who scored four points.
Micah Thomas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Springwood, scoring 18 points along with three steals and two blocks. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 17 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daniel Westbrook, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Macon-East Montgomery Academy dropped their record down to 6-16 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Springwood, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.
