Issaquah won the last time they faced Lake Washington and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Kangaroos 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Issaquah's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nathan McBride, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave McBride a new career-high.

Issaquah pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch. As for Lake Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Issaquah will face off against Bainbridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.7, the Spartans 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Lake Washington, they will square off against Redmond at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Kangaroos surely won't give up without a fight.
