Tristan Fanning put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Upper Merion Area is undefeated when Fanning posts eight or more strikeouts, but 4-7 otherwise.

Coming up, Fanning and Upper Merion Area will head out on the road to square off against Pottstown at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are a perfect 10-0 against the Trojans going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
