The Ossining Pride lost against the Arlington Admirals back in October of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Ossining took a serious blow against Arlington, falling 52-14. Ossining was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
When it comes to explaining why Ossining lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anthony Lofaro. Despite the final result, he rushed for 183 yards and a touchdown.
Michael Rescigno got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Rescigno really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run. Chance Moultrie made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Ossining has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Arlington, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Ossining does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arlington will look to defend their home field on Friday against John Jay at 5:00 p.m. John Jay will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Arlington is ranked 22nd).
