Calvary Christian is 6-1 against the since January of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Calvary Christian Knights will be playing at home against Konos Academy at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Calvary Christian waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. Everything went their way against Creekside Christian Academy as Calvary Christian made off with a 62-38 win. With that victory, Calvary Christian brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Calvary Christian relied on the efforts of Makayla Elizabeth reed, who scored 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds, and Lily Miller, who scored 21 points along with five steals. Elizabeth reed hasn't dropped below 15 points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Rhodes, who scored three points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Konos Academy got the win against the Knights on Thursday by a conclusive 49-24.
Calvary Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Konos Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Calvary Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the in their previous matchup last Friday, but they still walked away with a 40-34 win. Will Calvary Christian repeat their success, or do the have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
