There's no place like home for the Leonard Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Yantis by a score of 62-52 on Tuesday.
Several Owls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Cason, who scored 19 points. Tony Lopez was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Leonard's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Yantis, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Leonard will take on Lone Oak at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yantis, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitewright at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
