Washington School for the Deaf had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Wishkah Valley 54-12. That result was just more of the same for Washington School for the Deaf, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Washington School for the Deaf a 1-0 record and starting Wishkah Valley off at 0-1.
Washington School for the Deaf will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf. As for Wishkah Valley, they will face off against Oakville.
