The Austintown-Fitch Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 65-27 win over South Range. The victory was just what Austintown-Fitch needed coming off of a 49-26 loss in their prior matchup.
Austintown-Fitch found their leader in underclassman Kylie Folkwein, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. It was the first time this season that Folkwein scored 15 or more points. Destanie Mccullough was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Austintown-Fitch pushed their record up to 13-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for South Range, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austintown-Fitch will take on Howland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Range, they will be playing at home against Western Reserve at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
