Mogollon led VI Section I (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on Mogollon.
Fredonia made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 904 from 1,014. The advance stemmed from a 32-6 victory over Ash Fork last week.
The Mustangs' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jimmy Adams threw for 365 and three touchdowns and Hayden Honsinger had 177 yards receiving. On the ground Dallin Despain chipped in 228 yards. Macky Slade helped Mogollon's passing attack out by catching eight balls for 144 yards.
Mogollon's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Adams has thrown for 869 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Slade has 31 catches for 452 yards. Despain leads the league in rushing with 829 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Lynx and Rock Point. Fredonia enters the game ranked 21st in the state, while the Cougars ranks 22nd.
