The biggest upset of the week belonged to Okolona, who defeated 79th ranked Bruce, 41-39.
The Chieftains led 2A Region 4 in scoring this week by notching 41 points on the Trojans.
Chakel Gates was a passing and rushing force as Calhoun City beat Eupora. He completed 6 passes for 133 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 71 yards.
Jay Johnson was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 95 yards on 19 carries as Bruce lost to the Wildcats. Donta Armstrong also contributed to the rushing game with 71 yards on the ground.
Eupora's Trey Pittman and Gunn have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Pittman has thrown for 1,287 yards this season, while Gunn has 28 catches for 465 yards. Calhoun City's Gates leads the league in rushing yards with 705.
The top two teams in 2A Region 4 will face off this week when first place Eupora takes on second place East Webster.
The league will see a high scoring game when East Webster and junior graham's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Wolverines comes in having scored 235 this season, while the Eagles have scored 275.
Okolona made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,228 from 5,805. The improvement was the result of a 41-39 victory over James Ray's team last week.
