Shenandoah has won three straight games at home, while Alexandria-Monroe has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Raiders will welcome the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Shenandoah's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Randolph Southern with a sharp 18-0 victory. The game marked the Raiders' most dominant win of the season so far.

Olivia Hinesley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Tarran Mills was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Alyssa Toffolo was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Shenandoah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Alexandria-Monroe came out on top against Blackford on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fourth inning. The Tigers blew past the Bruins 13-3. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won nine in a row.
Like Shenandoah, Alexandria-Monroe also got a great game from a two-way player: Brynlee Humphries. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). Humphries was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Alexandria-Monroe let Riley Thomas and Daisy Bivens run wild. Thomas went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Bivens went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits Thomas has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ally Duckworth, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one double.
Shenandoah is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Alexandria-Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Shenandoah has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Alexandria-Monroe struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Shenandoah took their win against Alexandria-Monroe when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 13-3 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
