The Show Low Cougars put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 54-40 victory over Valley Christian. 54 seems to be a good number for Show Low as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Leading Show Low to victory were Raquel Wilson and Aubrie Wilson. Wilson scored 12 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds, while Wilson scored 19 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. The contest was Wilson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mikenzie Kulish, who scored 8 points.
Show Low's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Valley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Show Low won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chinle at 2:30 p.m. on December 8th. Chinle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 157th, while Show Low is ranked fifth). As for Valley Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Bourgade Catholic at 6:00 p.m. Bourgade Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
