Harmony is 0-6 against Chapel Hill since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Harmony Eagles will be staying on the road to face off against the Chapel Hill Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Harmony has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Harmony scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took down Big Sandy 75-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Chapel Hill had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.4 points), and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They blew past New Diana, posting a 79-31 win at home. The result was nothing new for Chapel Hill, who have now won ten matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Chapel Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cayden Martinez out in front who scored ten points along with three steals. Martinez hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Buchanan, who scored 16 points.
The win got Harmony back to even at 5-5. As for Chapel Hill, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Harmony was taken down by Chapel Hill 82-36 in their previous matchup back in January. Can Harmony avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
