It was a good run, but The Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Regis 46-7. Blanchet Catholic lost against Regis in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 55-7 score last time.
Regis haved a senior duo take command as Noah Koenig gained 131 total yards and four touchdowns and Kollin Schumacher threw for 204 yards and four touchdowns. Koenig was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 61 yards.
Blanchet Catholic's loss on Friday dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Regis, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blanchet Catholic will square off against Culver at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Culver's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. As for Regis, they will head out on the road to face off against Willamina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
