Even though Springfield International scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, the Pittsfield Generals still came out on top. Pittsfield took their game against Springfield International 71-59.
Among those leading the charge was Malachi Perry, who scored 16 points. Da'Sean Brown was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Pittsfield's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Springfield International, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pittsfield will face off against East Longmeadow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield International will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sci-Tech at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024.
