Rabun County won the last time they faced Banks County and things went their way on Wednesday too. Everything went the Rabun County Wildcats' way against the Banks County Leopards as the Rabun County Wildcats made off with an 80-57 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Hayes Free was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 15 boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Michael Bone was another key player, going 8-for-14 to rack up 21 points and four steals.

Rabun County was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 21 assists in four consecutive contests.

When it comes to explaining why Banks County lost, don't look at Kolby Watson. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-17 on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds. Watson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in each of the last three games he's played. Luke Dale also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.

Rabun County is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Banks County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Rabun County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-56 victory against Commerce on the 14th. As for Banks County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-58 win against Providence Christian Academy on the 14th.
