They fell to the Blue Devils 73-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (59), World of Inquiry still had to take the loss.
When it comes to explaining why World of Inquiry lost, one person who can't be blamed is Diego Martinez. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jaedon Adams, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and two steals.
World of Inquiry are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9. As for Mynderse Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
World of Inquiry will head out on the road to take on Rochester Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Rochester Prep is ranked 477th, while World of Inquiry is ranked 463rd).
