It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop McGuinness had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Leadership Academy Falcons as they made off with a 7-0 victory. Bishop McGuinness might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by three goals or more this season.

Bishop McGuinness has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up eight goals over those 17 contests. As for Leadership Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-10.

Coming up, Bishop McGuinness will take on Elkin on Monday. Elkin will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bishop McGuinness surely won't give up without a fight. Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
