Last Friday, Alba-Golden's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past Cooper with a 45-41 victory.
Meanwhile, Como-Pickton lost to North Hopkins on the road by a decisive 50-35 margin on Friday.
Alba-Golden is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Como-Pickton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
Alba-Golden didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Como-Pickton when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 35-31 victory.
