Thunderbird is 9-1 against Shadow Mountain since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Titans will head out to take on the Matadors at 3:45 p.m. Thunderbird will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Thunderbird is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Greenway get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Patrick Ramon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Matt Hornburg was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Thunderbird: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Andrew Cohill, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Thunderbird always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Shadow Mountain never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Moon Valley on Thursday. They blew past the Rockets 15-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Jacob Alden made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Alden was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Shadow Mountain let Gavin Lieske and Andy Chaplick run wild. Lieske went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Chaplick went 2-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Zauner, who went 2-for-3 with four runs.
Thunderbird is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Shadow Mountain, their record is now 9-12-1.
Everything went Thunderbird's way against Shadow Mountain in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Thunderbird made off with a 16-9 victory. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Matadors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
