The East Rowan Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 76-32 defeat at the hands of Robinson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for East Rowan in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.
Logan Bradley and Aiden Lino certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Bradley scored 11 points, while Lino scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bradley has scored all season.
Leading Robinson to victory were Brian Rowe and Londen Roseman. Rowe scored 18 points, while Roseman scored 24 points. Roseman has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played.
East Rowan has not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season. As for Robinson, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Rowan will square off against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Robinson, they will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwest Cabarrus knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully the Bulldogs likes a good challenge.
