Baseball Recap: Carlynton Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Carlynton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past the McKeesport Tigers 8-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Graydon Harvey, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Isaac Anker was another key player, going 1-for-4 with four RBI.

Carlynton's record now sits at 2-3. As for McKeesport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Carlynton will venture away from home to take on Riverview at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McKeesport, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Woodland Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
