After flying high against Clewiston  last Friday, Glades Central came back down to earth. The Glades Central Raiders fell  63-53 to the Wellington Wolverines on Tuesday. The Raiders have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
 Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Dimarques Brown, who  went 6 for 11  en route to 17  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chris Pompilus, who  posted 11 points and six  rebounds.
Glades Central's defeat  ended  an  eight-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-4. As for Wellington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record  this season.
 Glades Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  73-58  win against Immokalee on the 31st. As for Wellington, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  55-43  victory against Vero Beach on the 31st.
