Liam Widemire put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Widemire's strong effort led Wickliffe over Berkshire and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
