Don Pedro has not had much luck with Vanguard College Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Vanguard College Prep found their leader in underclassman Gustavo Mora, who scored 18 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Muriithi, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and seven steals.
Don Pedro dropped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.6 points per game. As for Vanguard College Prep, their win bumped their record up to 5-16.
Don Pedro will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tioga at 5:00 p.m. Tioga comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Vanguard College Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Humphreys Able Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
